What they build

Four projects they get to keep

Each one teaches a new skill and ends with a real object in the mail. Nothing downloaded — they design all four from an empty workspace.

Project 1

Cookie cutter

Shapes, sketching, and how a design becomes something printable.

Project 2

Name keychain

Text, curves, and why holes need to be bigger than you think.

Project 3

Desk organizer

Measuring real objects and designing around them.

Project 4

Their own idea

Anything they want to make. They design it, I help, we print it.

The schedule

What happens each week

One hour a week, live on Zoom, capped at eight kids so everyone gets help by name.

Week 1Onshape basics — sketching, constraints, and a first solid part
Week 2Designing the cookie cutter from scratch
Week 3Text, curves and holes — the keychain
Week 4Measuring, multi-part design, the desk organizer
Week 5Their own project, plus how a 3D printer actually works
Who's teaching

Every print comes off my own machine

I'm a high school student with more than two years of CAD and 3D printing behind me. Every project in this class gets designed with your kid on the call, printed on my own printer, packed by me, and mailed by me.

Eight students max, so nobody gets lost. If your kid isn't into it after the first session, email me and I'll refund you in full.
