What they build

Four projects they get to keep

Each one teaches a new skill and ends with a real object in the mail. Nothing downloaded — they design all four from an empty workspace.

Project 1

Cookie cutter

Shapes, sketching, and how a design becomes something printable.

Project 2

Name keychain

Text, curves, and why holes need to be bigger than you think.

Project 3

Desk organizer

Measuring real objects and designing around them.

Project 4

Their own idea

Anything they want to make. They design it, I help, we print it.

Who's teaching

Every print comes off my own machine

I'm a high school student with more than two years of CAD and 3D printing behind me. Every project in this class gets designed with your kid on the call, printed on my own printer, packed by me, and mailed by me.

Eight students max, so nobody gets lost. If your kid isn't into it after the first session, email me and I'll refund you in full.

Questions

Things parents ask me

If yours isn't here, email me — I answer everything myself, usually the same day.

Do we need a 3D printer?
No, and that's the whole point. Your child designs on a normal computer; I print every project on my own machine, box it, and mail it to you. Filament, packaging and US shipping are all included in the price.
Does my kid need to be good with computers?
No. Session one starts from an empty screen and assumes zero experience. Onshape runs in a normal web browser and is free. If they can use a mouse comfortably, they can do this.
What exactly is Onshape?
Professional CAD software — the same category of tool used to design real products. It runs entirely in the browser, so there's nothing to install, and it's free for personal use. Learning it is a genuinely useful skill, not a toy version of one.
What do we need to have ready?
A computer or laptop with a mouse (a trackpad works but a mouse is much easier), an internet connection, and Zoom. That's it. A free Onshape account takes two minutes and I'll walk you through it before session one.
What if my kid doesn't like it?
Email me after the first session and I'll refund you in full, no questions. I'd rather give the money back than have a kid sitting through four more weeks of something they aren't enjoying.
Who are you, exactly?
I'm a high school student who's been doing CAD and 3D printing for more than two years, and this is my own small business. I teach every session, I print every project on my own printer, and I mail every package myself. Parents are welcome to sit in on any session — several usually do the first week.
When do the projects arrive?
All four ship together after the final session, in one package. That keeps shipping free and means nothing gets lost in transit halfway through the course. US addresses only for now.
My child is younger than 12 — can they still join?
Maybe. Twelve is a recommendation, not a rule — it's about attention span across a full hour more than anything else. If your child is younger but genuinely keen, email me and we'll work out whether it's a fit.
How does payment work?
Fill in the form below and I'll email you within a day to confirm the seat and send payment details. Nothing is charged on this site. If it helps, you can split it into two payments of $64.50 — half to hold the seat, half before session three.
